Key Reports

The Sutherland Shire Marine Association has and continues to engage in a variety of studies and activities to promote and support the marine sector and associated businesses in our region.
Our industry studies can bring together a wide range of partners, including the NSW Department of State and Regional Development, NSW Maritime and other agencies, NSW TAFE, the University of Wollongong and Sutherland Shire Council. We also have a close collaborative relationship with the Boating Industry Association.
Members of the SSMA have developed a closer professional relationship with Sutherland Shire Council’s Parks & Waterways department, and continue to provide feedback and advice on the maintenance and development of the Shire’s wharves, jetties, boat ramps and surrounds.
